Rand Paul Raises $3 Mil in 2nd Quarter Report, Has $9 Mil on Hand

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, continues to bundle cash as his re-election campaign nears the starting gun to fall campaigning.

Paul’s re-election campaign announced that he raised over $3.1 million in the second quarter of 2022 and increased his cash on hand to $9.2 million.

“Dr. Rand Paul’s pro-liberty message continues to resonate with Kentuckians who depend on him to defend their freedoms in the Senate,” said Jake Cox, Deputy Campaign Manager. “He has raised nearly $20 million this cycle because of his staunch opposition to defunding the police and his work to balance our nation’s budget. Dr. Paul is better positioned than ever to win in November.”

This second quarter of 2022 brings Dr. Paul’s total contributions to $19.5 million in contributions between 2021 and 2022. The total amount raised so far this year is more than 1.5 times what he raised between his 2010 election and 2016 re-election combined. These donations come from nearly 225,000 unique donors including nearly 465,000 unique donations.

Paul faces Democratic nominee Charles Booker in the Senate race.
