Rand Paul Keeps TV Campaign Churning with Ad on Violence in Louisville

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, is continuing his air assault in the race for re-election against Democratic nominee Charles Booker.

Paul released another tv ad this week, his tenth of the campaign, featuring Navada and Krista Gwynn, who in 2019 lost their son to a drive-by shooting in Louisville, and then in 2021 experienced the trauma of their daughter being shot in the knee at a city park, also in Louisville.

Paul’s campaign has been able to effectively control the airwaves in the race and edge into Booker’s base of support unanswered with a huge fundraising disparity. Booker is touring the state in the final weeks of the campaign making stops in Western Kentucky on Wednesday.
