Courier-Journal reporter Morgan Watkins is exiting the newspaper, but staying in the Louisville market.
Watkins is joining the newsroom at Louisville Public Radio where she will be covering the health beat. She previously joined the Courier in 2016 where she covered politics, government, and higher education.
“I’ll be joining Louisville Public Media in a few weeks as their new health reporter, and I’m beyond stoked about it,” Watkins wrote on Twitter. “They’ve got a great team there doing fantastic, public service journalism, and I can’t wait to join them.”
Watkins said she is “indescribably grateful” to the Courier-Journal where she has worked for more than 6 years.
