Four of the 12 Republicans vying for the nomination to challenge Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Kentucky, will appear for their first debate in Louisville next month, with one of the leading candidates not agreeing to participate.
Tuesday, March 7, Attorney General Daniel Cameron, Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles, Auditor Mike Harmon, and Somerset Mayor Allen Keck will take part in the debate hosted by the Jefferson County Republican Party and Spectrum News Kentucky, who will be broadcasting the debate live.
Invited, but not appearing at the debate is former ambassador Kelly Craft, who’s campaign announced on Wednesday that she would only be participating in two debates, one with Kentucky Sports Radio and the other with Kentucky Educational Television.
Spectrum News’ Mario Anderson will host the March 7 debate which will take place from 7pm to 8pm. Tickets are on sale to watch the debate from the Henry Clay, and participate in live polling.
