Holly Harris Named One of the Most Powerful Women in Washington by Washingtonian Magazine

Kentuckian Holly Harris, the president and executive director of the Justice Action Network, has been named among the most powerful women in Washington D.C., by The Washingtonian Magazine.

Harris is named amongst the top female lobbyists and activists and advocates in Washington D.C., the broader list from the magazine includes women in international politics, education, medicine, media, arts, and other categories.

Others named in the list include Vice President Kamala Harris, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, and First Lady Jill Biden.

Harris, who lives in Lexington, Kentucky, is well known in GOP politics. She served as the former general counsel for the Republican Party of Kentucky, the 2015 gubernatorial campaign of James Comer, as well as other positions in Republican politics. She is a former television news reporter.

As director of the Justice Action Network, Harris has made criminal justice reforms a non-partisan issue in Congress and in state legislative chambers around the nation.
