Greenberg Adds to List of Endorsements in Louisville Mayor’s Race

Louisville Democratic mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg is adding to his list of endorsements with a nod of approval from another union.

IUE-CWA Locals 83761 & 3310 have joined six others in Louisville’s organized labor community in endorsing Greenberg’s campaign for Mayor of Louisville.

“We took a long look at the candidates for Mayor and believe that Craig has the energy, experience, and vision that will benefit our members and Louisville as a whole,” said representatives of both Locals in a joint statement. “Craig is someone who will take immediate action to solve Louisville’s challenges and we
proudly endorse him.” The union represents thousands of workers at some of the city’s largest
employers, including GE Appliance Park, and AT&T.

“Having the support of IUE-CWA and the thousands of hard-working men and women they represent is an enormous honor,” Greenberg said in a news release. “I take seriously the trust that these folks have placed in our campaign to build a Safer, Stronger and Healthier Louisville and I look forward to working together to make that happen for them and for every family in Louisville.”

Greenberg has been endorsed by six other union groups, including Teamsters Local 783, AFSCME, Local 2629, ATU Local 1447, LiUNA Local 576, NCFO/SEIU Kentucky, Louisville Professional Firefighters Local 345.
