Adair and Taylor County Democrats have nominated former Taylor County Judge-Executive Eddie Rogers for the Nov. 2 special election to fill the unexpired term of the late Rep. John “Bam” Carney.
Rogers was the lone Democrat interested in running in the special election, according to Columbia Magazine.
Rogers will face Michael “Sarge” Pollock an insurance risk advisor in Campbellsville in the special election.
The 51st House District includes Adair and Taylor Counties.
