Dems Target Cameron for Disregarding Campaign Promise to Seek Second Term

The Kentucky Democratic Party continues to promote videos of Daniel Cameron promising to seek a second term if elected Attorney General in 2019.

Cameron, who announced a run for governor in May, made numerous promises to seek a second term as Attorney General when he ran for the post in 2019, now the Kentucky Democratic Party is putting its machine in action to showcase the videos online.

“In his 2019 campaign, Daniel Cameron committed to serving two terms as attorney general, saying it’s what “the law enforcement community deserves.” How can we trust anything Cameron says when he’s already proven that his campaign promises are a joke,” wrote the Kentucky Democratic Party.

Cameron is among numerous Republicans seeking to earn the GOP nomination to challenge Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear next year.
