Charles Booker Kicks Off Statewide Bus Tour

Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Charles Booker is hitting the road with the end of the campaign in sight.

Booker, a former state Representative, has struggled to attract a nationwide donor base in his effort to unseat two-term U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky.

The Louisville Democrat is wrapping up the race with three weeks on the road starting on Tuesday morning at the Portland Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville.

Meanwhile, Paul is also hitting the road with security concerns the Republican Senator does not publish his schedule, but he is attending events both in his campaign and constituency capacity.
