Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Charles Booker is calling for his supporters to volunteer in a mass community action plan to provide information and resources to Kentuckians to protect themselves from the Delta variant of COVID-19.
Booker, D-Louisville, took to social media with a video to urge supporters to come together, organize, and reach out to Kentuckians to clear up misinformation about vaccinations.
“We need to reach out to our loved ones across this Commonwealth,” said Booker in his call to action. “Especially in the areas that are hardest hit, to make sure they know the truth and have the information they need to be safe.”
In the video posted on Twitter, Booker asks his supporters to sign up for the community-based effort aimed at connecting with other Kentucky residents to ensure they have the information and resources they need to get vaccinated and stay safe during this dangerous time.
“We can get through this if we come together,” he said.
