Ryan Quarles Launches Gubernatorial Announcement Video

Republican Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles has launched his first campaign video for the 2023 gubernatorial primary.

Quarles, who is term-limited as Ag Commissioner, is wasting little time in targeting Beshear and nationalizing the election.

“You see it every day at the grocery store, the gas pump, and in never-ending emails sent home from your child’s school. Joe Biden and Andy Beshear have lectured us daily on what to do and what we can’t do – and tied our hands-on making the best decisions for ourselves and our families,” he says in the video.

Quarles says he has the experience to lead Kentucky to “brighter days” and unite Kentucky.

In the video, Quarles casts himself as the person to work with everyone to fight for “commonsense solutions,” be tough on crime and back law enforcement.

“It all starts now,” Quarles says, adding in the coming weeks he will share a campaign kick-off on June 1 in Georgetown.

Quarles will face Auditor Mike Harmon and former lawyer Eric Deters who have already entered the race. Attorney General Daniel Cameron, former UN Ambassador Kelly Craft, Sen. Max Wise, Sen. Ralph Alvarado, former Gov. Matt Bevin, Rep. Savannah Maddox, and Somerset Mayor Alan Keck are all considering the GOP primary race to take on Gov. Andy Beshear.
